Cabinet Yin Yang: Zwane digs his Gupta hole deeper while Gordhan ‘free, uncaptured’ 

It was somewhat curious that Speaker Baleka Mbete acceded to a request from the Democratic Alliance (DA) to pose an urgent question to Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane on his false claim that Cabinet had approved his recommendation for a judicial enquiry into South Africa’s banks. Perhaps there was a good explanation for what happened or, just maybe, the ANC was ready to hold him accountable. It turned out to be neither. But one person who did come out swinging in Parliament on Wednesday was Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan, who proudly declared his state of “uncapture” and threw some punches at his captured comrades. Apple unveils waterproof phones and Super Mario

Apple has unveiled its new iPhone 7 and larger iPhone 7 Plus, boasting an improved camera, water resistance, and a new Super Mario Game. Opting to remove headphone jacks entirely, users will now have to use a proprietary cable or new wireless headphones. Addressing supporters and media on Wednesday, Donald Trump expressed his admiration for President Vladimir Putin’s control over Russia.
