  I so agree with you Nathi… We, the people of SA need a breath of fresh air… a respite from the 30-year stink of unfulfilled promises. What we need is a boost to take us to a different direction, towards an upward trajectory, where jobs, service delivery, food security, restoration of our water quality, better education and health; and YES, the realisation of civil services that they are to SERVE US, not the other way round!!! All these must be prioratised for the people of Mzansi, over the naval-gazing of the ANC government we’ve been subjected to. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

    The good people of South Africa must now join hands and save our beautiful country from this corrupt ANC government and the other red-dressed thugs that have the audacity to call themselves parliamentarians.
    Let us all vote for non-racist, thinking and honourable people who have the welfare of the people at heart.
    If there are such people left in parliament, let them stand up.
    Now is the time.

  Agree with you all. It is tempting to simplify a complex matter, but when our future is at stake, that is often what can start to turn the boat around. Too many of our policies and too much of our political rhetoric focuses on the past. Yes, know your history, BUT MOVE FORWARD for all our sakes. That is where our future as citizens and a nation lies. I believe we have learnt from our past and we cannot undo it, but we can acknowledge it as part of our foundation. Stop praying to the gods of yesteryear – Russia was supportive of the freedom struggle, but so was virtually every other country in the world. If we can root out the evil of corruption amongst the ruling elite and focus our charter on the future, our collective future, Mzansi can rise. There is simply no example in human society where a system of longterm financial handouts has lead to the uplifting of a people. Here’s the complex part of the equation and the secret control weapon of socialism: When people are hungry and you give them bread, you have a following that, absent a better understanding, is hard to free from your dogma. In our country we need a political organization that can penetrate the ranks of the recipients and show a better way. You can give a starving man a fish, and he will be hungry again to-morrow; teach him to catch a fish, …. Any takers?

  Why do I recommend the DA in 2024?

  Because the DA is about a better future for all our people, not about power and money for a few. Do a lifestyle audit on all party leaders to prove the difference for yourself. And the DA don’t only have the best strategy for all of us, critically they also have the skills and structures to actually deliver and bring us the best possible South Africa.

  Perfect? No. Better? Hell yes.
