STREET TALK
My Period: Breaking the taboo, Part 1 (Video)
'Aunt Flo', 'Time of the Month' ... Whatever you call it, getting your period is a woman's rite of passage. Why is it that something so natural is perceived to be so taboo and embarrassing? Here women share their stories of the first time, and how it impacted their life.
Special thanks to the Cora Project. The CORA Project (CORA) is a women-led non-profit whose mission is to support menstruators from underprivileged communities in South Africa by providing them with the knowledge and resources to end period poverty.
This film was produced by Street Talk.
