Freshlyground not allowed to play in Zim
Zimbabwe is denying South African musicians Freshlyground permission to play in the country, according to a report by Eyewitness News. The band, which was set to play Harare on 3 October, will release a statement on the situation later on Friday. It's a fair bet that their latest music video, made in collaboration with the ZA News team, has not found favour with the Zimbabwean regime. The video, called Chicken to change, is a challenge to Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, suggesting that it's time for him to hand over the reins. Read more: Eyewitness News
