Mantashe calls on ANCYL members to drop court cases

The ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe has called on ANC Youth League members who have taken internal disputes with the league to court to drop those cases in order to allow a 5-member panel to try and resolve disputes. The task team, appointed by the party's national working committee and headed by deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe is expected to meet all the disgruntled members and finish its work sometime next week. We don't imagine Youth League President Julius Malema will take kindly to this intervention by the ANC, since he's been at pains to point out that the League is big enough to run its own affairs without being told what to do by the parent body.
