Vladimir Putin may be manouvering to reclaim Russian Presidency
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is all over the news in Russia of late, and Kremlin analysts say he may be positioning himself for a presidency bid, with elections due in 18 months time. While the current Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is mostly confined to his offices, Putin has been doing the rounds in Russia, visiting locations that have been ravaged by the recent runaway fires and publicly admonishing officials for not being adequately prepared to combat the blaze.
