South Africans should congratulate themselves on World Cup, says Tutu

Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu has praised South Africa's hosting of the World Cup, saying: "We are hosting the greatest World Cup, and we are doing it in style," he said. Tutu would like to see the benefits of hosting the tournament extending beyond next month. He feels the positive sentiment generated by the World Cup should mark a beginning, rather than an end. Tutu also predicts that Bafana Bafana will win Tuesday's game vs France three or four to nil. Let's hope his optimism is justified.  Read more: Sapa via M&G
