Oil spill claim fund to cost BP $20 billion

BP has agreed to place about $20 billion in an escrow account for victims of the Gulf oil spill, although the finer details must still be worked out. The fund will be managed by mediator Kenneth Feinberg, who was involved in managing compensation for 9/11 victims. Read more: The New York Times
