This year (2022) The Gathering live event will only take place in Cape Town, however you are more than welcome to join the virtual event experience which is free and accessible to anyone who would like to attend. You will be able to ask questions and actively participate in the panel discussions from wherever you are in the world.

Once you receive the code, all you need to do is:
1. Click on “tickets” and before selecting click “use promotion code” which you will see in the top right hand corner.
2. Once you have applied the promo code you will see the “General Admission” ticket price change from R500 to R250.
3. Select how many tickets you would like and
4. Head to check out. 

The event will take place from 9am – 6pm with registration opening from 7:30am on Thursday 24 November. The panel discussions will end at 17h30 and we would love for you to join us for drinks and networking after the event.  

There are a few parking options available at the CTICC and the directions are clearly demarcated. Here is the link to the directions.

The agenda for The Gathering will be released over the course of the next week (Mon 26th – Fri 30th). What we can guarantee is that the agenda will be thought-provoking, solutions-based and set the tone for what is hopefully the path to a stronger South Africa.

The speaker line-up will be released very soon. Think game changers, policy makers, leaders and an array of individuals who are actively coming up with solutions to set South Africa on an upwards trajectory. 

The Gathering 2022 virtual event is free and accessible to anyone who wishes to attend. You can register to become a participant here.

The R75 ticket is a student option that is open and available to anyone with a university-affiliated email address. We would love for the youth of the country to be able to join us in person on the day and if you are a Maverick Insider and a student, please feel free to make use of this ticket option. 

There will be easy-eating food options, as well as snackable eats, available for purchase throughout the day. Snapscan, cash and card facilities will be accepted on the day. 

There will be a full remote working space set-up at the event, courtesy of Workshop 17. Remember to bring your charging cables and any adapters you may need in order to plug in. We will also have dedicated phone booths for any important, private calls you may need to make during the course of the day. 

Yes indeed. The wristband you receive at registration will allow you access to the event throughout the course of the day. You are welcome to come and go as you please.

Absolutely. All content at The Gathering 2022 will be recorded and made available for viewing and listening after the event.
