DM168 Support FAQs

When will my newspaper arrive?

DM168 will be delivered on a Saturday in Gauteng and the Western Cape, and on a Sunday in KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape.
If you sign up before Monday at 9am, your newspaper will arrive this coming weekend. If you sign after that time, your subscription will start next weekend.

My delivery day has passed and my newspaper has not been delivered – what now?

On a Saturday or a Sunday, our distributor, iSizwe, will assist with any delivery-related issues. Contact iSizwe customer service via email on [email protected]  or WhatsApp, SMS, or voice on 073-838-0683. Please note all billing issues will be dealt with on Monday – Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm.

Over the weekend, iSizwe operators are available from 7am-12pm on a Saturday and from 9am-12pm on a Sunday.

I want to change the duration of my subscription

Here are the steps to change the duration of your subscription:

1. Log in at https://shop.dailymaverick.co.za/my-account/ using the email address and password you specified when signing up. 
2. Click on My Subscription.
3. Scroll down to the Subscription totals section.
4. Click Change Subscription Term.
5. Choose your desired subscription term.
6. Click Add to cart.
7. Verify your billing and shipping information.
8. Click Complete Order.

I want to renew my subscription

Here are the steps to renew your subscription:

4. Click on Renew now.
5. Add your delivery address and select your payment method.
6. Click Renew subscription.

I do not want my subscription to auto renew

Here are the steps to turn off the auto renew of your subscription:

1. Log in at https://shop.dailymaverick.co.za/my-account/ using the email address and password you specified when signing up. 
2. Click on My Subscription.
3. Toggle the Auto renew button
4. The icon will turn grey and the Payment type below will reflect as Via Manual Renewal.

I want my subscription to auto renew

Here are the steps to enable the auto renew of your subscription:

1. Log in at https://shop.dailymaverick.co.za/my-account/ using the email address and password you specified when signing up. 
2. Click on My Subscription.
3. Toggle the Auto renew button
4. The icon will turn red and the Payment type below will reflect as Via PayFast.

I want to cancel my subscription

Here are the steps to cancel your subscription:

1. Log in at https://shop.dailymaverick.co.za/my-account/ using the email address and password you specified when signing up. 
2. Click on My Subscription.
3. Click on Cancel.

I want to reactivate my subscription

Here are the steps to reactivate your subscription:

1. Log in at https://shop.dailymaverick.co.za/my-account/ using the email address and password you specified when signing up. 
2. Click on My Subscription.
3. Click on Reactivate.

How do I change my delivery address?

Follow the steps below to update your delivery address:

Log in at https://shop.dailymaverick.co.za/my-account/ using the email address and password you specified when signing up. 
1. Click on My Subscription.
2. Click on Change address.
3. Update your address and click Save address.

How can I read DM168 if I am not in a designated delivery area?

DM168 can be purchased for R25 at Pick n Pay stores, Exclusive Books, and airport bookstores.
