Christopher Vandome is a senior research fellow with the Chatham House Africa Programme. His research focuses on the political economy and international relations of southern Africa, as well as regional and continental peace and security, environmental issues and extractive industries. Christopher has a master’s degree from the University of Cape Town and is currently a PhD candidate in international relations at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
