Bishop Peter Lee

Peter Lee is a retired Anglican Bishop who spent some years in the Vaal Triangle during the Struggle and was used to calling out political groups at moments of violence. He buried the victims of the massacre at Boipatong in 1992 and spent the next decade working on issues of reconciliation and housing for the victims who were ignored by the government of the day. He continues to chair the board of education of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa.
