Kidnapped Nigerian school children released unharmed

Officials in Nigeria say that the 15 school children who were kidnapped from a bus on their way to school on Monday have been released unharmed and in good health. The police spokesperson said that the children were released early on Friday morning, after a rescue operation carried out by army and police personnel. The police did not say what had happened to the kidnappers.  Read more: Reuters Africa and The AP
