Mantashe decries media leaks, says offenders must be punished

On Monday ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe slammed the leaking of ANC national executive committee decisions to the media, and said that anyone found to be the source of such leaks must be "dealt with decisively". Considering that from Tuesday the media is not privy to the national general council, but that a whole lot of journalists are camped out in Durban for the purpose of covering the NGC, it would be very surprising if the free-flow of leaked information suddenly stopped.
