Uefa bans vuvuzelas

Uefa have banned vuvuzelas from their competitions, saying that they drowned out supporters and detracted from the emotion of the game. This means that in the Champions League, Europa League and Euro 2012 qualifiers, all you'll hear in the stadiums during matches is... people. Apparently Uefa don't want their competitions to be as awesome as our World Cup was. Officials said that while the vuvuzela was ok for South Africa, it wouldn't be appropriate in Europe.
