Hillary Clinton visits Korean Demilitarised Zone

US secretary of state Hillary Clinton and defence secretary Robert Gates paid a visit to the demilitarised zone that separates North and South Korea on Wednesday. Clinton reiterated American support for South Korea, saying: "We continue to send a message to the North: that there is another way. But until they change direction, the United States stands firmly on behalf of the people and government of South Korea." Read more: Reuters
