OBE will not be scrapped, but will be modified

Outcomes-based education is not being scrapped, according to basic education minister Angie Motshekga. On Tuesday she said instead that OBE was being "modified" to better serve pupils. The changes will include less emphasis on projects and portfolio work as forms of assessment.  Read more: IOL
