Pick n Pay leaves Australia

Pick n Pay is saying goodbye to its business interests Down Under. The South African company announced on Thursday that it will sell its Australian subsidiary, the supermarket Franklins, to Metcash Trading. The R1.4 billion Pick n Pay will receive from the sale will be reinvested in the group's southern African operations. Read more: Fin24
