Implementation of new traffic act delayed

The Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (Aarto) Act, set to take effect from 1 July in four metropolitan councils and from 1 November countrywide will be postponed according to Transport Minister S'bu Ndebele.The new demerits point system falls under Aarto. New dates for implementing the act have not yet been set.  Read more: Fin24
