Cahill banned for one match only

Fifa's disciplinary committee has ruled that Australian Tim Cahill will be banned for just one match, following his red card during Sunday night's match against Germany. Cahill was sent off for his challenge on Bastian Schweinsteiger. He will have to sit out the Socceroos' next match against Ghana, but will be back for their final group stage match against Serbia.  Read more: Brisbane Times
