By Andy Rice 14 June 2010

US President Barack Obama will make his first speech from the Oval Office - the official office of the president - on Tuesday night. Obama's schedule is dominated by oil spill damage control this week: on Monday he starts a tour of the gulf states, and on Wednesday he will meet BP executives, including chief Tony Hayward.
