IRA victims demand Libyan reparations

In the story that just won’t die, British parliamentarians have gone to Libya to gain compensation for families of victims of the Irish Republican Army. They say Brother Leader, Muammar Gaddafi (the King of Kings of Africa), and his government provided explosives to the IRA in their fight to end British rule in Northern Ireland. Gaddafi's son says Libya will fight any claims, despite Libya paying an out of court settlement to three American victims of IRA bombings. The Libyans also eventually paid some $1.8 billion in reparations to families of 270 people killed in the bombing of a Pan Am jet over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988.
