zuma and malema

Jacob Zuma on his relationship with Mo Shaik and Thabo Mbeki cracking jokes to his bartender; this is local politics like you've never seen it before.

The show that was too hot for TV is now online, and it is well worth watching. ZANews (previously just ZNews) is like Jon Stewart for South Africa: it claims to be satire, but it is a better place to get your daily news than just about any other outlet. Except The Daily Maverick, of course.

Jonathan Shapiro, who creates cartoons as Zapiro, headlines the production, but he has an awesome crew of set designers, puppeteers and script writers backing him up. The production values are impressive.

Watch this episode only if you are willing to be hooked. But if you don't watch it you'll be missing out.
