Prince William to marry Kate Middleton next year

The UK's Prince William and Kate Middleton will be married in spring or summer 2011, Clarence House announced on Tuesday. (If you aren't up on your Royal watching, William is the older of Princess Di's two boys). The couple reportedly became engaged in Kenya last month. Middleton will officially become a princess when she marries William, who is second in line to the British throne after his father. Like William's mother, Middleton is also a "commoner". The wedding couldn't have been timed better - "Wills" is getting on, not to mention the fact that the Brits need something to take their minds off the depressing spectre that is the UK economy.
