Rwanda outraged by UN report
Rwanda said that it welcomed UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon's visit to the country, but officials were outraged by a UN report that accused Rwandan soldiers of genocide in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Ban is in the country to talk to officials about the report, which has not yet been released to allow the affected countries time to comment on it. The report accuses Rwandan Tutsi commanders and their rebel allies of carrying out genocide missions against Hutus living in the DRC. Rwanda's foreign minister, who is meeting Ban today, said that if the report were published, his country would withdraw their troops supporting UN peace-keeping missions in Sudan.
