Merkel to attend Germany quarter final

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will be attending Germany's World Cup quarter final clash vs Argentina in Cape Town on Saturday, according to AFP. Merkel is a huge soccer fan and, challenging yet another gender stereotype, she recently said she is a bigger fan than her husband.  Read more: Sapa-AFP via IOL
