Bangladeshi factories ordered to stop production during World Cup matches

Officials have instructed factories in Dhaka and surrounds to shut down production during peak hours for the duration of the World Cup in an effort to conserve electricity. This is an attempt to placate the country's soccer-crazy citizens, after there were riots on Saturday when a power outage during the Argentina-Nigeria game meant fans couldn't watch the match.
