Oh brave new world – Pulitzer Prize allows more online work for prizes

The Pulitzer Prize board, America’s premier journalism and writing awards, is now going to allow more online work to be submitted for awards.  The Pulitzer board allowed entries from Internet-only publications in all 14 journalism categories if the Web site was "primarily dedicated" to original news reporting. This year the board has dropped that requirement, allowing web sites that primarily publish commentary and links to other sites. However, the board continues to exclude entries from magazines and broadcast media, or their associated web sites. For more, read the official announcement on the Pulitzer site or the AP story
