Al-Jazeera shows Afghan militants with US ammo

Al-Jazeera television broadcasts showed insurgents with what seemed to be American ammunition in a part of eastern Afghanistan US forces left after a fierce firefight.  However, the US military says all material is accounted for. While the amount of ammunition does not appear to be major, the insurgents might also use this to stake a claim to a propaganda victory. Nato officials also said Afghan police had seized 5,000 components used in roadside bombs and 250 tons of ammonium nitrate fertilizer, often used in making explosives. Read more: AP
