Rights group says Kenya refugees recruited to fight Somali militants

Global human rights group, Human Rights Watch, wants Kenya to stop Somali military recruiters from enlisting displaced Somali men and boys to fight Islamic militants. One of HRW’s researchers says enlisting refugees to fight on behalf of Somalia's Transitional Federal Government is a violation of UN regulations. Kenya’s refugee camps house more than 280,000 people. The Kenyans deny they are helping the recruiters, but have themselves sent troops across the border into neighbouring Somalia of late.
