NEWFLASH: SA in 110th place in 2010 Human Development Index

South Africa has slightly improved its ranking in the UN's Human Development Index for 2010, moving up from 129 in 2009 to 110 this year. The 2010 index ranked 169 countries, while the 2009 index ranked 189. South Africa is considered to be a "medium development" country.
