Gupta Group to launch daily in September

A new daily called New Age is set to hit the newsstands in September, according to Business Day. The newspaper will be funded by the Gupta Group, which has close ties to the ANC. If the paper is anything as riveting as the Gupta Group's Thinker magazine (published by none other than Essop Pahad), we don't see it making much of an impact on the market. Read more: M&G
