ArcelorMittal hit with $336 million fine over European steel cartel

Steel maker ArcelorMittal has been fined $336 million by the European Commission for its part in a pre-stressed steel cartel. Seventeen companies were involved in the cartel, which fixed steel prices in 12 EU countries from 1984 to 2002. Read more: DPA via Earth Times
