Danny Boyle to direct Olympic opening ceremony

Film director Danny Boyle, of Trainspotting and Slumdog Millionaire fame, has been named as the artistic director of the opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics in London. The dance scene at the end of Slumdog Millionaire was stunning, so we hope some of the Bollywood influence finds its way into his latest project.  Read more: The Guardian
