Worrying number of doctors resign from Leratong Hospital

Seventeen doctors have resigned from Leratong Hospital on the West Rand since the beginning of the year, reportedly because of bad management. There are 29 positions for doctors that need to be filled, and 52 for nurses. The most pressing concern is that Leratong is a Fifa-designated hospital, but is not equipped to deal with extra patients, such as injured fans.  Read more: Sapa via IOL
