One of my biggest confessions is that I’m not a big reader. My mind is too busy and I’m easily distracted. I like short, sharp bits of info: summary form. The last book I read was “Open” – An autobiography by Andre Agassi which I did actually enjoy.
A tough call between “Pretty Women” and “Taken” – a stark contrast in movie genre and actor!
I don’t watch series – I’ve never even watched Friends!
My partner – he’s always calm and finds a solution
My son – he’s full of logic
My best friend – she’s my voice of reason
France. Having lived there after school, I fell in love with everything French: Food, language, culture, style – but South Africa is home and I have no plans to leave anytime soon.

With a cup of coffee then I climb back into bed and plan my day. After that, no day is ever the same.

To get children to pack a dishwasher. Unpacking a dishwasher would be a superpower on steroids.
I am so bored of my playlists I now let Apple Music surprise me.
I am amazed, but at the same time, fearful of AI. A bit of a love hate relationship. I love how you can get instant answers to things, but I hate how it removes the old fashioned research, especially for the youth.
Leftover roast beef and gravy
Too many to mention. Anyone who performs random gifts of kindness I admire.
Working in one of my Dad’s catering canteens during the school holidays to earn some pocket money.
A country with a rich history, friendly people and such a mix of cultures. I need sun so the weather and beaches are way up on my list, followed by great food and wine. The list of activities is endless.
