Has to be Bridge of Clay by Markus Zusak. My recent favourite is Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho.

Little Women directed by Greta Gerwig never ceases to amaze me or make me cry. I watched The Menu a few weeks ago and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.

I’m a serial binge watcher, so having to pick just one would be blasphemy. My go-to is New Girl, and with recent faves it’s a tie between True Detective and Ted Lasso.

Sometimes I go down the OneDayOnly rabbit hole. I’ve ordered a tiny fan that plugs into my phone from there (it’s for the free shipping, you know).

A Pinterest picture of the shade of red I want to dye my hair.

In New Zealand sheep outnumber people. There are 7.5 sheep for every person in the country.

When driving through an orange light, you have to tap the roof of your car. Someone once told me it’s meant to wake up your guardian angel.

Any family dinner at my grandparents’ house with everyone present.

Aisle. Maybe it’s the placebo effect, but it makes me feel like there’s more space.

Taylor Swift. I’m a big Swiftie and wouldn’t mind experiencing what she gets up to on a normal day.

Well I’d have to say starting at Daily Maverick. I finished my honours degree last year and I’m still in awe that I get to work at one of the publications I admire and respect the most.

That I’m actually a huge introvert.

I’m never one to leave a girlfriend behind, so I think I’d be facing charges of being an accessory before the fact.

Loyal, direct and passionate.

My beaten-up, red Doc Martens.

Things might be going great for a while, or really bad for a while, but there’ll always be a regression to the middle; that sweet spot where everything is just okay.

My grandmother.

Watching really bad reality TV.
