Spud: The Madness Continues. The whole series is great, but this one made me howl with laughter. Recently, Q and A by Vikas Swarup – great storytelling with a resilient protagonist.

All time: Rambo: First Blood. Recently: Sinners, Blues, Vampires, and The South. Underrated combo. I feel like most people prefer to binge a series over a movie.

Of all time: Supernatural. Sometimes inaccurate but fun. Recently: Shogun. Language as a plot device at its finest.

Sucking at something is the first step to being sort of good at something.

I really admire Maya Angelou because she was super disciplined with her writing and used her voice to make a difference. Something I could only dream to aspire to.
