From the minute it opened its doors, Corruption Watch has demanded stronger protection for whistle-blowers and indeed, for whistle-blowers simply to be taken seriously. As we prepare to commemorate the five-year anniversary of Babita Deokaran’s murder, we think back over 14 years of calling for meaningful accountability, and the reforms that are still so desperately needed.
