Oh for Pete's sake. So, Little John Steenhuisen is the one with lots and lots of deputies. And by implication the one who steals from the poor and gives to the rich. This is not even close to humorous. Such a poor attempt at - what? I don't even know. It's just rubbish.

On dear.......I think there's a bit lost in translation here. It's supposed to read that Robbing Hood had a a huge staff, not Little John.

Robbing Hood! That's an angle that the cartoonists missed. Good work... ;) Yes, the reference is to the original character, not to Little John, but is a little confusing.
