Stephen Devereux and Mark Heywood

Stephen Devereux is a professor and founding member of the Food Equity Centre at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, UK; extraordinary professor at the Institute for Social Development, University of the Western Cape, affiliated to the DSTI-NRF Centre of Excellence in Food Security; and a founding member of the Union Against Hunger. Mark Heywood is a veteran social justice activist and writer, senior researcher at the Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance at the University of Cape Town, and co-founder of the Union Against Hunger.
