Odwa Mtati

Odwa Mtati is the chief executive of the South African International Maritime Institute (Saimi), headquartered in Nelson Mandela Bay. He was instrumental in establishing Saimi in 2014 as a multi-stakeholder entity tasked with skills development to unlock the socioeconomic potential of the South African and African maritime environment. He holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies and has served on or led a number of public and private sector Boards focused on economic and social development.
