Mandi Mudarikwa

Mandi Mudarika is currently employed as an attorney working in the equality and non-discrimination project of the Legal Resources Centre (LRC) in South Africa. The LRC is a national law clinic that uses law as an instrument of justice for the poor and marginalised. The equality and non-discrimination project focuses on promoting and protecting the right to equality and non-discrimination of vulnerable and marginalised groups including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersexed (LGBTI) persons, refugees, persons with disabilities, children and women, among others. As an attorney, her work focuses on strategic and impact litigation at both national and international level, policy reform and advocacy that advances the realisation of equality and non-discrimination for diverse clients of the LRC. Mandi holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Masters of Law (LLM) in Human Rights Law, both from the University of Cape Town.
