Louzel Lombard Steyn is a freelance food and travel writer, originally from a farm in the Karoo Heartland in the Eastern Cape. She is passionate about South Africa’s rich food heritage and culture and often hosts hands-on food experiences with her mom, Lani. The mom-and-daughter was a favourite on the first season of My Kitchen Rules South Africa, where they cooked their way into the semifinals - and South African hearts.
