A man who sustained serious injuries in a bus crash on the outskirts of the German capital Berlin on Sunday has died, police said - bringing the accident's death toll up to 13. Another 38 people were injured, many of them seriously. Among them is the 37-year-old car driver who police believe caused the accident. The passengers on board the bus were employees of the forestry office in the western Polish town of Zlocieniec who were returning from a company trip to Spain with their families. Other people suffered minor injuries in the accident.
The coach, which carried more than 50 people, according to a police spokesperson, crashed near the town of Wezep, some 100 km (62 miles) east of Amsterdam around 4 a.m. (0200 GMT) due to a collision with a delivery van, whose driver was among the injured victims.
The A28 highway was closed in both directions following the accident.
