In 2023, I reported on individuals from Bulgaria, wanted in other countries over crime issues, who may be in Cape Town, South Africa. Now it turns out that one of them, Stanislav Stamenov, wanted by Romania for alleged drug trafficking, has indeed been in the South African city – offering personal training services at a Virgin Active gym in a posh suburb.

Very worrying indeed... For decades now South Africa has appeared as a haven for the "baddies". Remember Mr Harksen and the use of the lockers in the Health & Raquet club in Green Point to hide diamonds and other loot ??? We should be wary of the smooth talking folk who appear monied but are cunning and ruthless. We should guard against being dumb and get suckered ... and caught up in the crossfire.
