As the G20 and B20 summits roll into town, expect the N1, M1, and N12 to transform into no-go zones—because nothing says ‘world leaders’ like a traffic jam!

National routes, including the N1, M1, and N12, will be subject to closures, lane restrictions and intermittent disruptions during the G20 and B20 summits on 22-23 November. 

The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) has released the routes that will be closed during a dry run of the event on Saturday, 15 November. The same roads are expected to be closed during the G20 Summit.

I would have thought those are precisely the routes to USE not AVOID - they're the only ones where traffic lights will be working, pot-holes repaired and grass verges de-garbaged and mown. VIVA ANC!
