Following a ruling by Deputy Press Ombud Tyrone August, amaBhungane has updated Part One of this series to reflect the outcome of a High Court ruling in Moepathutse’s favour, dated May 2025 and traversed in Part Two of this series.
The Ombud ruled against most of the complaints by Moepathutse but found that amaBhungane erred by not including some details of the court ruling that favoured Moepathutse. For the full ruling, see https://presscouncil.org.za/
