Unity in diversity as Joburg Pride shines a light on LGBTQIA+ rights amid global struggles
Saturday, 25 October 2025 was Joburg Pride day, and Sukasha Singh was there to record it.

The Joburg Pride event in Sandton on 25 October brought together a wide range of people who just wanted to have fun. They also wanted to remind others that although SA’s Constitution protects our LGBTQIA+ community, there are still countries where it is illegal to be gay, and hate crimes against the community have increased worldwide.
