In Pictures: Cannes 2025 – Frills, silk and statement dressing, but no long trails
As the 78th Cannes Film Festival begins, the red carpet once again becomes a global stage — not just for film, but also for fashion. New official rules seem to prohibit sheer or revealing dresses, stating that nudity on the red carpet is banned for “decency reasons.” Here is a gallery of images from the night.
